Computation of a Subset of X-Parameters Using the Adjoint Method

X-parameter is a registered trademark of Agilent Technologies are a useful tool for modeling the nonlinear behaviour of RF circuits and devices. Techniques for their efficient computation as well as measurement have been presented in recent publications. In this paper, we propose a method for efficiently computing a required subset of X-parameters using the adjoint technique. This approach provides significant speed-up in cases where only a subset of the X-parameters are needed.
