Performance Analysis of Battery for Solar based Wheelchair

Solar power system derive clean and pure energy from the sun. Solar panels are able to produce energy from the sun rays and convert it into electricity using photovoltaic effect. During this process panel generate no pollution and it is less costly. We have designed the solar based wheelchair for handicapped people. This wheelchair consists of solar panel, battery, charge controller, brushless DC motor. This report contains all the components information related to the solar based wheelchair. The proposed wheelchair system is selfdriven so it is very useful for the physically challenged people. This is the best invention in the medical field. Early wheelchairs makes the use of grid supply for recharging batteries. Also the cost of those vehicles was not affordable for the common man. In this case an attempt is made to design a solar based wheelchair at an affordable cost so it can be affordable for the common man. It is useful in both indoor and outdoor activities.
