Interfacing of Wind Energy to Grid using Static Compensator and Load Reactive Power Compensation

Day by day increases electrical load but not increase electrical sources. So in this condition both side that is load side and source side unbalance. Electrical power sources are continuously flow in system but load continuously varies. This condition is affected in electrical power sources side that is generating side. In this case use FACT devices and maintain this both sides. Objective of this paper is a. reactive power compensation and improve power quality b. interfacing of wind energy source to electrical power grid. In this proposed system flexible AC transmission device use for load reactive power compensation and wind energy interfacing purpose. In this case static compensator is used as flexible AC transmission devices. Static compensator is use for inject and absorbs of reactive power in electrical power grid. Static compensator is work using IcosΦ controller, which generate pulses and provided input to static compensator and maintain the system and improve power quality.
