Adaptive Backstepping Tracking Controller Design For Chaotic Dynamic Systems

The backstepping based adaptive tracking controller (BATC) is proposed for a chaotic dynamic system. BATC system is proposed based on the finite-time stability theorem and backstepping technique. Moreover, the unknown nonlinear function of chaotic system can be approximated by a neural network (NN) approximation technique. Based on Lyapunov method, the closed-loop stability of chaotic control system is analyzed in this paper. Finally, simulation results illustrated the validity of the proposed BATC for the chaotic system regarding the unknown dynamic function¹.
