Performance Evaluation of QoS-CMS Mechanism for Inter-domain Quality of Service

QoS-CMS is a new mechanism which has been proposed to ensure the end-to-end Quality of Service. The main particularity of this mechanism is that the traffic earns the possibility to have the same QoS required in its own Autonomous System after crossing several ones. Simulation results are presented in this paper in order to highlight the capabilities of the proposed mechanism. These include a significant improvement of network performances in terms of delay and loss rate, without negative impact on the network.
