Client Side Countermeasures for the Prevention of SQLIA in Web Applications

There is a vital need for protecting web applications from SQLIA (SQL injection attacks) because the database stores large amount of Sensitive data. The developers of the web applications are not spending enough attention to prevent client side vulnerabilities which are easiest gateway of SQLIA. This paper proposes an automated approach which protects the web applications from SQLIA on the client side. The proposed system is implemented in the Client Side SQL-Injection Preventer (CSSP) tool and the outcome of the experimental results clears states that the proposed approach closes the gateway of SQLIA on the client side.
