Power Management and Advanced Metering Infrastructure Using Wireless Network in Remote Areas

Advanced metering infrastructure(AMI) is an essential tool for a smart grid system to calculate.gather, store, analyse and process the data regarding the consumption of consumers. This advanced metering infrastructure enables two way communication between the consumers and utilities. The ultimate aim of this project is to provide the power supply to the consumers in the remote areas without interruption throughout the year that is uninterrupted supply. The energy is routed through a preprogramed way depending upon the consumer's requirement when the generation of the power is not sufficient. The energy theft is detected and it makes the metering process much easier than others and the process is also simulated using the software. Eventually the power management and the metering process is combined in this project. And also power management is done through two sessions when the generation of power is not sufficient. Ultimately the aim is to provide 24*7 power supply to the consumers.
