A Coupled-line Voltage Divider for Recording Highvoltage Nanosecond Pulses

The paper generalizes the experience of application of coupled-line voltage dividers having a wider frequency band than the capacitive ones. The divider is installed in the path of the transmission line and consists of an upper arm - the main transmission line, and a lower arm - the measuring line. To increase the attenuation factor and the time confidence interval, the measuring line is made of a double-sided foil-coated fiberglass. The fiberglass insulation has a high dielectric constant of 4 to 4.5.
