Abstract:

In this paper, we have discussed the Internet of Things (IoT)'s Impact on Decision Oriented Applications of Big Data Sentiment Analysis. In recent decades, the tremendous development of the Internet, Internet of Things, and Cloud Computing have led to the massive growth of data in almost every field of science and technology, software industry and business area and decision makers. IoT means embedded machines embedded or sensors connected with internet or any network that collect and store raw data for analysis to generate useful information. The huge amount of big data generated from the Internet of Things will drive increasing demand for data analytics. Big data sentiment analysis (BDSA) has expansively developed into a very hot topic that attracts the extensive attention of every investor and stakeholders from academia, industry, and governments across the globe. All these are applicable to IoT datasets as well. In this paper, we first briefly introduce the concept of big data sentiment analysis, including its definition, features, and decision value. We describe the core concept behind the big data sentiment analysis and framework required to handle big data with various software components. We then identify from different perspectives the significance and challenges of IOTs impact on big data and sentiment analysis. We describe the grand BDSA challenges, as well as possible solutions to address these challenges currently. Finally, we conclude the paper by presenting several suggestions on carrying out different IOT based big data sentiment analysis projects.
