Crosstalk Estimation and Correction Using Quegan and Ainsworth Methods

Crosstalk correction is a very important step in the calibration of SAR data. Several crosstalk methods have been developed since the 1990's to estimate and correct the crosstalk of fully polarimetric data. In this paper, we compare two crosstalk methods which are the Quegan and the Ainsworth methods using an airborne L-band dataset. The results showed that the crosstalk parameters for the Quegan method are all around -17 dB to -21 dB before calibration, while a little improvement in the range of 3 dB after calibration. Also, the results of the Ainsworth method are around -20 dB befor calibration, while it is around -40 dB after calibration.
