Control Methodology for Realization of 100kW HEECS Chopper with 99.5% Efficiency

This paper describes a study for extremely high precision efficiency measurement by build of back to back (BTB) system of high power DC-DC converter aiming at realization of 100 kW high efficiency energy conversion system (HEECS) chopper with 99.5% efficiency. The proposed new water-cooled 2-phase HEECS BTB chopper system offers solutions in saving reduction of input power and high precision efficiency measurement of high power DC-DC converter with extremely high efficiency of 99.5%.
