A Review of the Volumetric Torque Density of Rotary Magnetic Gear Designs

This paper provides a review of the current and past developments in the area of rotary magnetic gear technology. The performance is investigated with respect to torque density and gear ratio. The aim of the paper is to present a snap-shot of the current state-of the art in this rapidly developing area of research.
