Designing Method of Insulation Strength and Lightning Protection for Overhead Power Distribution Lines

The authors evaluated the research results which are related to lightning protection of overhead power distribution lines. Based on the above evaluation the authors propose the designing procedure of the lightning protection measure for overhead power distribution lines including the selecting methods of insulation strength of them. Moreover the authors propose the research items necessary for establishing the ideal lightning protection measures for overhead power distribution lines.
