Automation of Controlling of Personalization of Learning in Cloud Educational Environment Based on Cluster Approach

As a part of this study, an approach to automated management of the personalization of the learning process in a cloud educational environment is proposed, based on cluster analysis. Clustering trainees ensures the solution of such important pedagogical tasks as individualization and differentiation of education. Cluster analysis allows you to consider a large amount of data about students, compress them, make them compact, visual and understandable for the software implementation of algorithms for personalized learning in online cloud platforms. The developed approach allows differentiating the online course listeners into generalized groups for the purposeful organization of collaborative work, for example, on the realization of differentiated assessment tasks. The obtained results of clustering of the online course listeners are given by different algorithms according to fourteen significant attributes. The research materials can be used in the design and development of cloud software systems that automate the processes of personalized learning.
