Formation of Indicators for Assessing Technical Reliability of Information Security Systems

A method is presented that allows forming the indicators of the technical reliability of information security systems. This method is based on the algorithms of extrapolating neural networks. The neural network helps to form a list of indicators of the technical reliability of information security systems. The suggested method allows eliminating uncertainty in the synthesis of a set of the technical reliability parameters. The proposed approach extends the capabilities of existing neural networks, used for decision support. It provides for increase in the accuracy and reliability of decisions on security policy management, as well as the improvement in the operativeness of evaluating the reliability of information security systems.
