Cable Design with Extended Range for Use in Flexible Intelligent Manufacturing Systems

The possibilities of the symmetrical Long Ethernet system line link attenuation decrease by means of increasing the wave-making resistance Z of twisted pair cable products have been analysed. The limit values for Z have been obtained. To preserve the operability of the typical calculation techniques using the previously found estimate of the main part of the formed direct connection link Shannon capacity, the operative attenuation coefficient has been determined, and its dependence on the link length has been provided.
