Piecewise sampled-data control of impact angle and angular velocity of a vibro-impact single pendulum : Effect of amplitude and operational period

In this study, I tried to control the vibro-impact oscillation for a single pendulum with a weak nonlinearity by using VMF, in addition to the linear rotational oscillator. I tried numerical experiments of the quasi-steady vibro-impact oscillation against the wall with a restitution coefficient of 0.5. I also attempted numerical experiments under piecewise sampled- data control to arbitrarily change the impact angle and the impact angular velocity stably. In this study, I found out the steady vibro-impacts for the single pendulum was realized despise the magnitude of the excitation, in case the operational period was 0.75 times of the natural period of the oscillator.
