Design and application of line insulation flashover automatic monitoring and positioning system

In order to find out the line insulation flashover timely and accurately, an automatic monitoring and positioning system of line insulation flashover is developed. All-weather recording of grounding current is realized through fault current monitor by the system. Using two-way wireless communication mode, the collected information is transmitted to the monitoring center by the communication management station set machine. The network management system stores and compares the data of the monitoring center. The data query and operation is realized through the handset. The system has the functions of remote query, fault current information reset and so on. The monitoring results are easy to store, query and analyze. Through practical application of the system, the troubleshooting is carried out timely and accurately. The safety and reliability of transmission lines is improved.
