A Full-Reference Video Quality Assessment Algorithm Based on MOVIE Index

Recently, the objective quality assessment method has developed rapidly. Among them, the image quality assessment (IQA) is quite mature. The accuracy of IQA algorithms can be very high. However, the video quality assessment (VQA) is developed slowly, whose accuracy rate hardly increases greatly. Moreover, VQA algorithms usually take a quite long time to complete the assessment. Considering of this point, this paper selects an existing VQA indexMOVIE as the basis, and improves on this basis. Under the premise of ensuring the accuracy, the consumption of time is greatly shortened.
