Development of HF Injection Based Sensorless Method for SRM Usin an Advanced Simulation

This paper deals with development of switched reluctance motor sensorless control method for low speeds using an advanced simulation. Therefore attention is given on detailed system analysis. After this analysis the created simulation is used to develop a low speed sensorless method using active probing suitable for the selected traction drive with switched reluctance motor (SRM). The algorithm is implemented into the studied drive to verify the simulation and proposed method accuracy.
