A Novel Chaos Based PRNG Targeting Secret Communication

This paper describes a cryptographic pseudorandom number generator (PRNG) implemented using the evolution of the chaotic Henon map. The PRNG is tested using the well established NIST statistical test suite. The throughput will be analyzed by implementing it in the C++ language, using 64-bits and 128-bits floating point arithmentic as well as 3.61 fixed point arithmetic. The results, both of the NIST suite and the throughput analysis, show that the generator is robust and suited for practical applications. The code is provided as a Git repository
