Interface Passivation for Dc Converters Under Voltage Droop Control

Voltage droop control is one of the most commonly used control strategies for DC microgrids in islanded mode. Operation patterns and time-varying structure of DC microgrids affect the effectiveness of voltage droop control. In this paper, interface passivation is studied according to the fact that the stability of DC microgrids is ensured as long as the individual converter has a passive interface. The passivation designs for buck converters have been presented to ensure that they have a passive interface under voltage droop control. Sufficient conditions on controller parameters are given. The proposed design is validated through the simulation results.
