Research on the Sound Environment of Typical Temple Theaters in the Northeast Fujian-by Taking Multiple Caissons with Rear courts as example

The drama performance is an important content of people's lives in the ancient China. Social activities such as entertaining goods, sacrifice and celebration etc usually require drama performances, which will be held in temples, ancestral halls and public plazas etc. Fujian Province has many genres of dramas including over 20 local types, of which drama performances held in temple buildings have the greatest influence. This paper selected most representative typical temple theatre buildings to run the sound environment test by adopting the historical architectural survey and the modern acoustic measurement. The contemporary hall sound quality evaluation system is used to study sound characteristics of performance sites and achieve auralization and visualization of traditional courtyard theaters, which provides data basis and parameter reference for further protection and reuse.
