Design a maximally flat 5th-order BSF for a receiver for satellite communication

The proposed BSF has been optimized by using IE3D software, realized and characterized over the range of C-band downlink frequencies from 3.6 to 4.2 GHz. The BSF has been designed based on Richards transformation followed by use of Kuroda's identities. S-parameters performance of the proposed filter is measured. The filter gives insertion loss of nearly 0 dB & return loss of nearly −67 dB.
