Control Design by Convex-Concave Optimization for Flow Rate Control Process

This paper presents an optimal PI control design for a realistic process control system. The multi process RT578 GUNT system is considered in this research and the model is derived by experiments. The new method is based on convex-concave optimization which considers sensitivity and complimentary sensitivity as constraints. The closed loop stability and optimal performance is guaranteed by introducing the cost function and the constraints in the optimization problem. Experimental results will be represented to show the efficiency of proposed controller.
