Application of 2D Barcode Technology Based on Image Processing

By aiming at the current situation that Shaanxi Frontier Inspection Organs adopts manual information processing in passengers inspection, this paper proposes the automatic identification and transmission scheme based on 2D barcode technology, and designs and realizes the application of barcode technology in the entry-exit personnel declaration system. According to PDF417 barcode coding compression rule, it realizes compression of the data format needed by this system and generation of the corresponding 2D barcode picture. Moreover, it adopts picture pretreatment technology and promotes 2D barcode picture identification performance. The experiment data test indicates that the system possesses good performance, high accuracy and favorable robustness and has certain practicability and application prospect.
