Nonlinear H-Infinity Control for Spacecraft Attitude Maneuver Based on SOS Optimization

This paper focuses on the nonlinear H-infinity control problem for the large angle attitude maneuver of spacecraft with external disturbances. According to the structural features of the spacecraft attitude system, the existence conditions of the nonlinear state feedback H-infinity controller are obtained by using Lyapunov stability theory. Furthermore, for the avoidance of the computing difficulties that exist widely in the study of nonlinear control, the above conditions are transformed into the corresponding SOS convex optimization constraints based on the polynomial sum of squares (SOS) theory. Finally, a numerical example verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach.
