Mode Evolution in a Three-Core Photonic Lantern

Photonic Lanterns are structures introduced to meet the demands of space-division multiplexing, they form a bridge between SMFs and FMFs. In this paper we have discuss the mode evolution of the modes of Single Mode fibers into the super-modes of the adiabatically tapered structure, which eventually leads onto a FMF.
