Dark Mode Based Thin Film Sensing in Terahertz Metamaterials

In this work, we have designed a metamaterial based sensor consists of asymmetric Split Ring Resonators (SRRs). It displays sharp resonance peaks in the frequency spectrum due to the excitation of dark eigen modes which resulted in high Q factor hence leading to high FoM values.
