Enrichment of Problem Solving Skills Among Engineering Students through Cooperative Problem Based Learning

Cooperative Problem Based Learning (CPBL) has been implemented in several engineering institutions. Research has proven this methodology to significantly improve, among others, students' creativity, communication skills, life-long learning, and problem solving skills. However, the enrichment processes of the skills are less reported. This paper demonstrates how the enrichment of problem solving skills among engineering student undergoing CPBL happens. The research uses qualitative approach through semi-structured interviews and reviews of students' reflections. The result is demonstrated by the development of Problem Solving Skills Enhancement Model.
