Performance Investigation of WAVE Network Under Influence of Highway Mobility

In Wireless Access/Vehicular Networks (WAVE) networks, the inter-connections link varies rapidly between vehicles, when transmitting information from one node to another, due to the frequent movement and varying mobility speeds of vehicles based on IEEE 802.11p; which, consequences in frequent network topology fluctuations and subsequently, results in route failures. This work is an effort to demonstrate an efficiently designed WAVE network used to transmit Dedicated Short-Range Communication (DSRC) message using vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) link establishment and to calculate its QoS performance by means of NetSim 10.1 Simulator along with SUMO.
