Research on Competitiveness of Vehicle-Freight Matching Platform for Carrier

Recent years have witnessed more and more “Internet + logistics” enterprises in practice, among which the vehicle-freight matching platform is the most common. This paper investigates the competitiveness of different platform enterprises for the carriers in the market. By analyzing the research and development situations home and abroad, we select four representative platforms, Huochebang, Yunmanman, Kaxintianxia, Tiandihui, as the analysis objects. We first construct the evaluation index system on the competitiveness of the vehicle-freight matching platform, and then use analytic hierarchy process to determine the weight of each evaluation index. Finally, we apply the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate the selected platforms and obtain their competitiveness level. The evaluation index system constructed and the research conclusions in this paper can facilitate the carrier when choosing a vehicle-freight matching platform.
