Control and Automation: Safety Improvement in Elevator

Lift or elevator is transport devices that are used to move goods or peoples vertically in upward and downward directions. In this project, the microcontroller based lift control system is constructed to simulate as an actual lift in the real life. Most lifts are powered by electric motors that pull steel cables along the pulleys. The elevators must ensure the safe operation meeting all safety requirements and compliance standards. Backup in case of electricity failure, buzzer, fan and light in a single apparatus, actuators for door locking are the key points discussed in the project.
