Efficient Simulation of Nonlinear Ring Oscillator via DEIM with Approximate Basis

This paper addresses the efficient computational cost minimization of the nonlinear Model Order Reduction (MOR) system through DEIM in which basis are obtained from the approximate snapshots of nonlinear term. The computational cost specifically related to the order of reduced variables acquired by POD, yet the nonlinear term still has original dimension.The POD approach must be combined with an interpolation method to effectively manage the nonlinear terms, and obtaining an efficiently reduced model. An interpolation method comprises in computing a small number of nonlinear entries and interpolating the other terms.We look at reduced order model for nonlinear ring oscillator framework with actual and approximated basis of trajectory.
