Trade-off Between Benefits and Safety Consideration: The Decision-making Process of Beijing Taxi Drivers

In this paper, several determinants influencing taxi drivers' decision-making performance were extracted via a scenario experiment. The inherent attributes of these factors, whether they are benefit-oriented or safety-oriented in drivers' decision-making performance, were identified. In addition, this paper indicated the possible personal elements leading to drivers' aggressive actions.
