High Efficiency A/C System Development Using Automated Water Mist System

this paper aims to improve the performance of A/C system through designing a water mist PID controller. The water pump flow is contingent on the Tc and it can be controlled through varying the rotational speed of the water pump. In the current design, a PID algorithm and PWM technique are integrated with a PIC16F877A microcontroller to regulator the water flow rate. This technology affords high energy saving with high improvement in (EER) over a wide range of ambient temperatures (35-57) °C. A comparative study between the conventional split A/C system and the proposed split A/C system. The results show that a proposed modified system give a better energy saving and performance improvement than the conventional system.
