Polymorphic Information Exchange Model for the purpose of Multi-level Fusion of Hard and Soft Information

The Joint Directors of Laboratories (JDL) model has been successfully implemented for miscellaneous fusion problems for over three decades. During that time, this very well received by the fusion society model became a sort of classics, as emerging solutions for years have been delivered with respect to the JDL's fusion level structure. However, with all the respect for the classic, not all fusion problems can be easily covered by this model. Multi-level fusion is one these problems, where the necessity of cooperation with diverse models often becomes critical if the operation levels do not refer directly the exact levels of JDL model. This paper presents a concept of the polymorphic information exchange model, which can be applied for the multi-level fusion purposes. The polymorphism enables the designer to release from the assumption of any predefined structure of the information exchange model.
