Novel method of measuring the screening effectiveness of small enclosures

This paper gives a brief overview of a test system developed by Thomson-Thorn Missile Electronics (TME), to measure the screening effectiveness of small enclosures. It details the design of the test system, the test method and discusses some case studies of previous projects. The system can be used to obtain tailoring factors for immunity tests, or by enclosure manufacturers to characterise their products.
