Investigation of maximum power point tracking of different kinds of photovoltaic panels

The increasing demand for renewable energy has made PV technology an interesting potential research domain. There are three types of widely used modern PV materials: monocrystalline, polycrystalline, and amorphous. This work will evaluate all three materials using two different MPPT algorithms: Perturb and Observe (P&O) and Newton Quadratic Interpolation (NQI). Due to their different characteristics, the amorphous material will perform differently from crystalline material. These results can lead to the best match between algorithms and materials.
