The Effects of Growing Popularity of EC Motors on Building's Automatic Systems

The article presents the methods of the control of electrical motors used in modern buildings. The control procedures are strictly connected to the fieldsof applications as the ventilation, air conditioning and other sanitary installations. Possible control structures for different types of motors used, especially for EC motors are presented. The abbreviated operating principle of the increasingly popular and increasingly used EC engine is presented, as well as its control methods and the advantages and disadvantages associated with its application. The whole article is described from the perspective of control automation and the problems and facilitations that are associated with the use of various electrical motors for this discipline.
