Mechanically exfoliated Rhenium disulfide onto D-shaped optical fiber for sub-300 fs EDFL mode-locking

For the first time, we present the ultrashort pulse generation of sub 300-fs mode-locked Erbium doped fiber laser using mechanically exfoliated ReS
2
deposited onto the polished surface of a D-shaped optical fiber.
