Effect of geometrical parameters on beam scanning characteristics of reflector antennas

The effect of geometrical parameters on the beam scanning characteristics of reflector antenna is studied. In this paper, the parabolic reflector antenna is taken as an example. The focal field is introduced as a method of analysis, and the conjugated focal plane field is used for parabolic antenna excitation. A series of principles are obtained for practical engineering design.
