Probability analysis of hemp coupling to power line

In this paper, based on the BLT equation and considering the angle of incidence, polarization direction and the burst height, the coupling current of the cable terminal under HEMP environment is calculated for various cases. The changing law of the probability functions of peak current value in Xi'an are presented. The results show that there is a small probability event with higher peak current in Xi'an than that in the United States due to the different latitudes. As the burst height increases, the probability of high peak current value increases.
