An Artificial Neural Network Based Predictive Approach for Analyzing Environmental Impact on Combined Cycle Power Plant Generation

Global climate has gone through a drastic change in the recent few decades. Besides human life it has imposed a great threat on the different industries. One of the major victims of this threat is electric power generation industry. This is what motivates this study to analyze how and to what extent the environment can harm the power generation sector. This study concentrates on combined cycle power plant generation and a detailed analysis has been done using Artificial Neural Network(ANN) as a data processing tool in Matlab environment. This study shows a top to bottom strategy to deal with this type of supervised learning problems where dataset plays an inevitable part for this type of analysis. So, to prepare a proper dataset in this study an IoT based device for automatic data logging has been used.
