Information support for business processes at virtual enterprises with multi-agent technologies

The paper focuses on a multi-agent system (MAS) as a special tool environment used for virtual enterprise (VE) management. To manage a virtual enterprise MAS employs knowledge engineering tools to build ontological systems and software tools to develop new modules for extension of the runtime system. The paper contains information on the programmer's tools necessary for creation of specialized software components that comprise an extensible set of program libraries. The above-mentioned components are a set of complementary tools designed to facilitate, accelerate and cheapen the development of MAS that will be used for management of VEs and later for the management of specific manufacturing enterprises.
