Application of Siemens PLC and WinCC in the Monitoring-Control System of Bulk Grain Silo

According to the existing problems in the bulk grain silo monitoring system, a Siemens PLC and WinCC distributed monitoring-control system was proposed. Siemens S7-300 series PLC and ET200M were used as the lower computer in this monitoring-control system, and the upper computer adopted the industrial control computer with WinCC control program installed. Both cooperated with each other to realize the centralized management and real-time monitoring of the whole control system. Practice showed that the distributed monitoring-control system held various advantages of strong reliability, high stability, convenient operation and intuitive interaction. And it could meet the requirements of production operations well.
