Rotating stall detection of axial compressor based on LabVIEW

The main work of this paper is the online detection system design of axial compressor rotating stall by combining deterministic learning theory, dynamical pattern recognition algorithm, and LabVIEW. Based on MATLAB and GPU technology, the modelling of rotating stall offline data, which is obtained from axial compressor test rig, is realized and then the pattern library is constructed. The GPU technology accelerates the calculation speed of the algorithm. In view of the advantages of LabVIEW's graphical programming language and multicore parallel computing technology, this paper uses the LabVIEW software to design the axial compressor's rotating stall online detection system. The designed system has a friendly user interface, and it can give an alarm before the rotating stall and surge of the compressor test rig effectively and accurately. The detection results verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the axial compressor rotating stall detection system.
