Vibration control of flexible string systems with nonlinear input

This paper focuses on the devise of vibration control strategy for stabilizing the flexible string systems in the presence of input nonlinearities. For eliminating the vibration and the mixed input dead-zone and saturation nonlinearities, the auxiliary system is incorporated into the course of boundary control development. The stability of the controlled system is achieved through rigorous analysis without recourse to model reduction approach. After selecting the relevant parameters appropriately, the offset of the system can be suppressed to equilibrium position. Finally, the effectiveness of the developed control is illustrated by simulation.
