Design of a cascaded full 360 ° reflection-type phase shifter with 90° hybrid coupler

A cascaded 360° reflection-type phase shifter with 90° hybrid coupler is presented. The phase shifter is composed with two segments and each segment adopts a hybrid coupler with reflective varactor load. The result indicates that the tunable phase range of this cascaded phase shifter is more than 360°. The insertion loss variation is less than 2dB and return loss is better than 10dB in all phase statement.
