Power distribution of parallel converters in islanded microgrid using virtual resistance droop control

This paper investigates the power distribution problem of multiple parallel inverters with different power ratings in microgrid. An improved droop control method based on virtual resistance is provided, which facilities the power distribution and restrain of circulating-current. The proposed approach can make the sharing of both active and reactive power of loads in microgrid in accordance with their capacity properly. The simulation with MATLAB/Simulink is conducted to validate effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.
